The Above and Beyond program will kick off with a trip to the TELUS World of Science in Edmonton on Thursday, December 6. Thirty-five students in Grades 8 and 9 have been selected to participate this month. The students nominated will vary due to the activity that is provided. Students are considered for this trip if they have an excellent overall average in their courses and they receive a nomination from the Junior High teaching team. Academic excellence and enthusiasm is recognized by the Junior High teaching team in the students that are nominated. In other words, if the student goes above and beyond what is expected or required.
Students attending this month to Edmonton are departing OHS at 7:30 am on Thursday, December 6. And will return to OHS at 6:30
